Greater Noida: Nawada, a small village situated in the so called knowledge hub and a progressed area, have a contrasting reality.Village of Nawada will turn your pages and will change your thinking of Greater Noida. The quality of life their is impoverished, A resident of the village Mr. Radhe Charan spoke about the reality that, ” he has beenjoblessforthe past few months and is living in a rented house with his family. He added that he didn’t have moneyeven to feed his family and most of the villagers were living in the same condition. The view of the village busts all the promises made by the politicians to the villagers. The streets were filthy, the sewer lines were overflowing, and clutter of garbage was lying in about every fifty meters.

(The filthy and unhygienic streets of Nawada)

An old man from the village, who was seventy plus in age revealed,  that to survive even at this age he had to work as a labor and his children were jobless too. The school of the village had no infrastructure and teachers were irregular and even the children were not interested in attending the school due to the poor conditions.

All this feels more ominous when you all just move your sight a little, people living a life of luxury in their apartments, big corporates located in beautiful skyscrapers, 24/7 water supply and electricity Connection, education facilities with world-class teachers, and appealing infrastructure.  All these people are living in the same area but are still living very distinct lives.  As a concluding statement, “People want the government to talk about the real issues like employment, standard of living, education, etc rather than talking about religion or caste.”
