Depression a state of mind which is normally ignored, people often don’t take it as a big problem that they face in their daily to daily life, but eventually as the time passes it become more poisonous for them, as there are several issues due to which it occurs, such as:- anxiety, stress, loneliness, etc. Nowadays, depression has been a very normal yet complicated topic for every single person in the world, especially the youth. The Younger generation are being so complicated, the spirit of competition or jealousy is also responsible for the state of depression.

People feel ashamed about talking about depression, as if doctor recommend them to consult a counselor or psychiatrist, them the family, friends or relatives think that the person has gone mad, but it’s not like that if you are suffering from depression then the support of your family and friends can make you feel better, but the society never understand the reality as they think it that it doesn’t matter your health. Depression harms your mental health or promotes problems, if not cured properly within time then it can have many side effects on your physical health as well as mental health.

Depression promotes self harming or violence because of which if not taken care the person can harm themselves or their family, as loneliness gets increased because of which anyone who is suffering can get hyper in a very little situation. In India, the situation is getting worse day by day, as India is a diverse country with a great population in which many people face the symptoms of depression which causes loneliness, lack of interest, insufficient sleep schedule, stress and anxiety. Current scenarios of India in numbers are:- According to a survey the number varies from 78 people in every 1000 people are depressed or having symptoms of depression in India.

Majority, the youngsters or youth are facing the problem even at a very young age, as the students studying in school or colleges or preparing for any competitive exams are majorly depressed, we can have an example in which we can understand the current scenario:- Students of age group between 15-20, studying in the coaching institutes of Kota are highly depressed, stressed and have anxiety issue which sometimes results in panic attacks or even suicide. Yes, maximum of suicides are happened because of depression as the students goes to the coaching centre for the preperation of IIT or NEET, but results in ending their life, as they go to the coaching centres because of the pressure their parents put on them to crack the exams, and the students are innocents they take so much stress of scoring good in the exams, and starts putting mental pressure on themselves which force them to take this decision and give up to their life. We have thousands of examples like this, it’s just that people often ignore these problems, but now it’s high time and people should have to take a strict action against this problem as it’s continuously harming our future.
