It is said that God sees everything and there is no sound in his stick. But we, the people of the earth, sometimes need the eyes of God as well as the fine Russian eyes, so that the watcher can rebuke sticks when the time comes, even Delhi Police has such eyes in the form of CCTV. To take the output from 2 lakh 66 thousand cameras installed here, it is about three and a half crores. Despite such heavy arrangements, common people have to pray to God instead of the police to save themselves from thieves. One has to live in fear on the streets of Delhi. Doesn’t trust when your purse, chain, mobile or laptop is stached. The funny thing is that thousands of CCTV cameras are installed in this city. But our decent leaders, officers and the police themselves become the victims of these cameras. Lord, know what is with these thieves which don’t make them visible to the smart policing of the nation’s capital and in front of the cameras. Obviously, in such a situation, the risk remains not only in the night but also during the day. In most developed countries of the world, if there is an accident on the road, it is caught through CCTV. Talking about Delhi, a budget of several crores has been earmarked for smart policing, but still god knows, what is the filter in these cameras that thieves are not visible and caught.

Few days ago theif snatched the person’s chain in a moving vehicle while walking around the city. The police started searching the theif in the smart control room. About 4 km from the spot where the victim had left, it was seen that two people on a bike were following him for a long time. The footage of snatching the chain from the neck was not found but he was seen riding the bike. From there, the number of the vehicle was found and then the investigation was done on the same basis. The criminals were caught and a big gang was busted. Chain and money were also recovered. However, the legal system is such that the aggrieved person is still proving in the court that the recovered chain belongs to him.

On an average, 7 robberies take place in Delhi every day and 26 snatching incidents. This is the average of cases in which victims file cases. Many poor people do not even register a case to avoid the hustle and bustle of the police station. In some cases, the police even catch criminals, but this is not an average daily occurrence.

Delhi Police should really make it equal that the assailants should abstain from stealing any belongings. Often during these crimes, the life of the victim is in danger, then at least the case of section 307 should also be filled with Mansing. Please Delhi Police protect your citizens because, delhi citizens are requesting you.
