Breaking all odds of poverty and adversity due to lack of proper education, Ritika, a student of Galgotias College, and a daughter of a peon who serves in the same college, has secured a job package of 20 lakhs in her very first attempt. In a society where poverty is been blamed for not been able to get success in one’s life personalities like Ritika serves as an exception and an example to the society that a positive mindset and a great will power is what it takes to taste success.
Ritika who hails from Jharkhand mentions that her mother use to work as a maid in others house and that her father is a peon in Galgotias College, but despite their unstable financial condition her parents didn’t compromise on her study, and decided to give her top standard education.
Through her father’s reference, Ritika got admission in Galgotias College, her professors and friends helped her a long way through out her journey. Her fees were also exempted by the college keeping in mind their financial condition. University CEO Dhruv Galgotia also mentioned that Ritika has become an inspiration for other students. He also highlighted the college initiative to help girl students considering their good marks and their family’s financial status, whereby these students get fifty percent scholarships and also the course books are made available free of cost to assist them in achieving their dreams.
