26th January 2023; Galgotias University in Greater Noida celebrated India’s 74th republic day with an array of several panache events organized by NCC cadets of the university along with Galgotias University Students Council members.
The celebration under “Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav” started with the arrival of Professor Arbind Kumar Jain, Dean, SBAS who were given a huge welcome by the students, followed by the honoring martyrs who lost their lives for the freedom of the nation. The event then further proceeded with the hosting of the flag by Professor Arbind Kumar Jain and the roaring national anthem sung in the chorus could be heard from miles away. The celebration further continued with a gripping speech by Mr. Akshat and Miss Shubhangi followed by very soulful Sarawasti vandana by Cdt. Riya Chauhan which followed a great tradition of NCC, the pipping ceremony of cadets, and numerous heart-touching, inspiring events, Poetry by Cdt. Prince, Solo Song by Cdt. Keerti Singh, Group and solo dance by GUSC, a stirring speech by Cdt. Harsh Singh, a beautiful duet song by Cdt. Krishna and Aditya and a Solo dance by NCC.
The joyous and colorful event was concluded by a vote of thanks which followed group photos of all organizers and guests preceded by the distribution of refreshments to all the attendees.
