Greater Noida: Galgotias University delivered an outstanding performance at the 67th Milestone X Heroes Challenge 2026, securing the Overall Champions Trophy. The tournament witnessed participation from prestigious universities across the country.
Students of Galgotias University showcased exceptional talent, determination, and teamwork across various sporting disciplines. Competing against top institutions nationwide, they emerged as the best-performing institution of this year’s tournament.
The university won a total of 12 medals across different sports. Gold medals were secured in women’s badminton, men’s basketball, men’s volleyball, chess, and archery (2 golds). Silver medals were earned in men’s badminton, women’s volleyball, kabaddi, and archery (1 silver), while bronze medals were won in archery and cricket.
Key contributors to this achievement include Sakshi Thapa, Krishanki, Aayush Singh, Alok Sharma, Nikhil Singh, Sidhi, Shivangi, Priyanshu, and Ansh, whose outstanding performances played a crucial role in securing the top position for the university.
This collective success in both individual and team events reflects the university’s strong commitment to holistic student development while promoting excellence in sports. The achievement further strengthens Galgotias University’s position as a leading institution in inter-university sports at the national level. The tournament was hosted by BML Munjal University.
