Thursday, May 4, 2023: Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering of Galgotias University, Greater Noida conducts a workshop on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR for its students and faculty members. The workshop was aimed at creating awareness about the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and IPR in today’s fast-paced business environment. This workshop was conducted by Dr. Gaurav Kumar the IIC In- charge and Prof. Lokesh Varshney, HOD, DEECE who spoke about the importance of innovation and how it can help create new opportunities for growth and development.
The event Coordinators were Dr. Indu Bhardwaj and Dr. Usha Chauhan.
The workshop covered various topics, including the basics of entrepreneurship, idea generation, business planning, funding, and marketing. The participants also learned about the different types of intellectual property rights, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and how they can be used to protect innovations and creations. The participants also had the opportunity to network with the experts and their peers, which helped them to gain insights into the latest trends and developments in the field of entrepreneurship and IPR.
More than 50 students attended the workshop. It helped the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of innovation and IPR in today’s business environment and equipped them with the knowledge and skills required to become successful entrepreneurs. The university plans to conduct more such workshops in the future to help its students and faculty members realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
