Menstrual health and hygiene are the basic right for girls and women. However, in some villages, women and girls don’t have accurate information nor proper sanitation to manage their menstruation safely. Still today they believe that periods or menses is a curse for women and they don’t talk about this openly. So, it is very important for them to get proper information as poor menstrual hygiene can pose to serious health issues like reproductive tract infection which leads to infertility and birth complication. And the primary goal of this campaign was to promote proper menstrual hygiene. So, we made a group of students and run this campaign on the awareness of menstrual health at SD KANYA INTER COLLEGE at Bilaspur, Gautam buddha nagar, greater Noida. so, we had created informative posters, banners and also engaged with the audience and done an open discussion to know about their problem as well. And through this campaign we increased the awareness among them and also observed a positive shift in the behavior related to menstrual hygiene.
