Greater Noida: The area near Alpha Tower depicts a life distinct from the flashy world. Here, people grapple with issues such as inadequate clean space and a lack of necessities like water, food, shelter, and proper infrastructure.As we walked through small pathways and homes, a lady named Rama bravely shared her problem and her struggle. She said “I have been living here for the past 20 years. My family consists of 25 members, and haven’t eaten for the past 2 days. I work at Kabadi Wala, but my husband is always drunk and doesn’t contribute to our income”.

She expressed the difficulties of not having access to proper toilets and how it is to get necessities. Her words shed light on the everyday struggles of the community, emphasizing the importance of addressing these issues for a better quality of life. Talking to more people, they shared more problems about being treated unfairly. They face discrimination based on where they live, which makes it harder for them to be a part of the border community. Some families don’t have enough money, making it hard for them to get basic things, like clean toilets, proper sanitation, food and many things.
The unfortunate reality is that some families in the area near Alpha Tower struggle with unemployment, which makes it tough for them to support their children’s education. As a result, children from these families miss out on the opportunity to go to school regularly. Without proper access to education, these kids are deprived of the chance to learn, grow, and improve their future lives.

The cycle of poverty continues when children are unable to receive an education limiting their opportunities for personal and economic development.
In conclusion, the community near Alpha Tower faces intertwined challenges, from financial struggles hindering access to necessities like clean toilets to overcrowded living conditions and a shortage of clean water. The unfortunate lack of employment opportunities compounds these difficulties, affecting not only daily life but also depriving children of essential education. Urgent intervention is required to break this cycle of hardship, support to improve living conditions, and enhance access to education and. Living conditions are difficult too, with too many people in small spaces and with a shortage of food and clothes. As we left, we couldn’t forget the strong spirit of the people living near Alpha Tower, facing challenges with courage.
