India has introduced a new education policy which we&rsquore all aware about but do we know exactly what the NEP 2020 Is? Therefore, Galgotias University, Greater Noida organised a Webinar which provided a complete insight and understanding about the latest education policy.
The Webinar was organised by the students from the &lsquoSchool of Media and Communication&rsquo and was solely directed towards the aim which is, BY THE STUDENTS, OF THE STUDENTS, AND FOR THE STUDENTS.
It was a one-of-a-kind platform for the youth to express their views and opinions on the subject Various activities were conducted and a few well-known dignitaries were invited to give their views and motivate the youth in regards to the upcoming phase of education An extremely captivating insight along with a SWOT analysis of the NEP 2020 and the field of media education.
THE WEBINAR CONSISTED OF THE FOLLOWING PROCEEDINGS
- The Webinar took place bilingually i.e. in &lsquoEnglish&rsquoas well as in ‘Hindi’.
- The Chief guests for this event were, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi Director General, IIMC and Prof. K.G. Suresh, VC, MCU, Bhopal.
- Various university students from all over India participated and put forward their views through presentations on the new education policy which were further evaluated and marked by the jury members.
- The jury members for the webinar were Prof. &lsquoDurgesh Tripathi&rsquo asst. professor, GGSIPU and Prof. &lsquoSatyendra Gupta&rsquo who evaluated the participants.
- &lsquoDr. A. Ram Pandey&rsquo (Dean, School of Media & Communication) welcomed the guest & &lsquoDr. Tasha Singh Parihar&rsquo (Associate Professor, School of Media & Communication) organised the webinar on behalf of the SMCS department at Galgotias University.
- The Webinar was held through the online platform &lsquoGoogle Meet&rsquo.
- The Webinar consisted of 3 sessions: –
- The presenters gave their respective presentations on the topic and were evaluated.
- The Question and Answer round took place wherein the audience were asked to put up questions to the presenters.
- Lastly the Winning contestants of the webinar were declared.
- The Winning Contestants were: –
- Vanshika Sharma from Banasthali Vidyapeeth University (BAJMC) bagged the 1st position.
- Mohit Chandra Saxena from Galgotias University (PhD in Computer Science) bagged the 2nd position.
- Nidhi Savya from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University (MABJ) bagged the 3rd position.
- All the Participants and Winners would be provided with participation certificates.
