Migrant workers Migrant workers are those people who move from their hometown to another city, state in search of labour work, employment Migrant workers during lockdown in spite of knowing that No work mans no wage and no wage means no food had to return their home due to unavailability of food. Imposing Lockdown affected migrant workers due to lack of information, illiteracy Right under constitution for Migrant workers Preamble, Fundamental Right and Directive principle of State Policy, protects labours right Article 14 right to equality, Article 15 state not to discriminate against citizens, Article 16 equality of opportunity for employment under the state. Article 43 of DPSP state that worker should have right to a living wage and of decent standard of life. Guidelines of India’s lockdown is considered as strict lockdown in the world. Because of long lasting lockdown and pandemic almost all the daily wages worker or breadwinners are seeing financial problems. Because of halt in economic activities many workers and migrant workers have to left their job and had to leave home without pennies in their pocket and because of this their family members also suffering and they don’t have square meal of the day. Homeless people are most vulnerable part of society. They don’t have financial support. Due to lockdown their daily earning effected because of as they also don’t know their rights of free food or reasonable price food and another schemes. They had to spend their day and nights without food and they are starving with hunger. Informal workers also badly affected as they are persons those work as servants; household helper and they don’t get formal security benefit that ought to be provide to workers by their employers.
