Galgotias University proudly welcomes distinguished delegates from the United Arab Emirates University for an exclusive engagement on “Advancing Global Research and Academic Leadership – A Collaboration to Shape the Future of Education and Research.
To advance the discussion on collaboration, delegates Dr. Saifudeen Ahammed Kabeer Senior Research Impact & Ranking Specialist & Associate Provost, Research Office, and Ms. Ghalia Alahbabi, Director, University Outreach Department visited the Galgotias University campus. The fruitful discussion enhanced a significant step in fostering international collaborations, academic excellence, and impactful research initiatives.
As per the the Times Higher Education, the current world ranking state of Galgotias University is 1001-1200 band in the world and 45th among the Indian Universities’ ranking. Recently, on 21 January, 2025 Galgotias University has been awarded Platinum Rating in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication at the prestigious QS I-Gauge Awards.
Also, As per the current world ranking state of United Arab Emirates University is 261st by The Times Higher Education (The World University ranking) and 1st amongst the Arab Ranking for Universities in UAE. In July 2024, UAEU has become the first university to publish an impressive 25,000 research papers indexed in Scopus. This remarkable achievement underscores UAEU’s dedication to fostering a culture of innovation and promotes an environment that is suitable for innovation through qualitative initiatives.
In their visit in university several questions were asked by students which include questions like how was your experience after visiting this university ? When this question was asked to Ms. Ghalia Alahbabi she told that her experience here was quite wonderful. And this university is very good for younger aspirants. After this, While answering the second question she said that AI is used in our day to day life and this is helping us in a way. The visit from Deliberate from UAE has been a valuable opportunity to explore potential collaborations in Research programs. We are confident that the discussions and connections made during this visit will lead to fruitful partnerships in the future.
