He further said that the Delhi government is continuously working on the ground to tackle the rising pollution levels.

The chief minister also declared a statement in a press conference to reimplement the odd-even scheme in future discourse if needed.

  • Will the government of Delhi be able to resolve this situation?
  • How much time will it take to subside?
  • If this situation continues to deteriorate, how will it affect the citizens?

Not only the government, but the people of Delhi should also take the initiative to contribute in the reduction of pollution by taking certain steps like car- pooling, using less vehicle, prefer walking over driving etc. People should also wear mask for their own safety.

While asking the central ministries, departments and organizations to adopt the measures as per their functional requirements, the DoPT asked them to ensure that the efficiency or productivity of the staff is not adversely impacted in any manner.
