Galgotias University is hosting a special exhibition in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The exhibition, titled “Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition,” is part of the “National Space Day Celebrations” and commemorates the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole of the Moon in August 2023.
From August 1st to August 3rd, 2024, the exhibition will take place at the Galgotias University campus in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It aims to inspire over 10,000 school students from the surrounding regions by providing them with interactive displays, models of satellites, launch vehicles, and interactive sessions with ISRO scientists. Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration, emphasizing its significance in engaging students with cutting-edge space technology. The event also aligns with broader efforts to promote space-based applications and encourage young students to pursue careers in the space industry.
