An enchanting event filled with eternal memories and Joy
Galgotias University Marketing Team had organized an absolutely charismatic ‘Prom Night’ on 12th of April in GCET, with more than 40 pairs contesting in variety of games to become Prom King and Queen, in the gracious presence of Galgotias Student Council President: Nikunj Bihari, Vice President: Avanindra Vikram Pratap Singh and Devansh Kaushik and Heads of Marketing Team: Aryan Tyagi and Hritik Pandey.
The event was hosted by Galgotias Marketing Team, embellished by Artistico, managed by Galgotias Management Team, captured by Cam Circle and the music given by Noteveda. All the promotions and updates were managed by Online Promotions Club. The participants had to take part in pairs as only then they would be able to contest the games.
Galgotias Marketing team had also organized an exciting event ‘Stupid-Cupid’ on 10th of April in Galgotias University by which their aim was to pair up random participants in order to help them find their partner for the prom night. They also made them play some games to test their compatibility and the winner pair got free entry to the prom.
The anchors for the Prom Night were Nakul Joshi and Dristi Das. The event commenced around 6pm with the amusing and melodious performance of Noteveda. As expected, they regaled everyone by their musical touch which was followed by various games for the pairs, arranged by members of Marketing Team.
The first round being Appearance game in which the partners were made to stand with their faces opposite to each other in such a way that they can’t see each other and then they were asked meticulous details about the appearance of their partner, if they answered them right then they moved on to the next round.
The second round was the Balloon game, in which the pairs had to burst the balloons without using their hand or legs with the time limit being one minutes. The pair bursting the highest number of balloons in one minute would go for next round.
The third round being the Ball Dance round in which the pairs had to dance with their partners. The judges for this round were Marketing Head Aryan Tyagi and Marketing Team Senior Member Yamini Kaira, who selected four pairs from this round for the final round.
In the fourth and the final round the Galgotias Student Council President, Nikunj Bihari and Vice President Devansh Kaushik and Avanindra Vikram Pratap Singh judged the four pairs and decided the Prom King and Queen.
Before the declaration of results, everyone was stunned by the terrific performance of Noteveda and was left amazed by melodious performance of Galgotias University Student Council Vice President Avanindra Vikram Pratap Singh.
Towards the end, around 8pm the winners were announced and the pair of Vimanshu and Umang, won the title of Prom King and Queen. The happiness on their faces said it all. They were also given sashes with the title ‘Prom King’ and ‘Prom Queen’ and a hamper full of eatables in order to celebrate their victory.
Galgotias University Marketing Team also declared Udita Jha and Dristi Das as their ‘members of the month’ and were also given hampers for the same. Later, everyone danced on the music and the glamorous evening ended in a very pleasant manner but Prom Night is never an ending instead it leaves bountiful memories which can be etched forever in one corner of the heart.
It was a fun-filled, light hearted evening full of games, glamour and memories. Though there were just one Prom King and Queen yet each and every pair who gave their best, created joyous life-time memories which will last forever in their heart were among the winners. After all Prom Night is just about living in the moments and enjoying yourself.
