The Jagannath prui temple is a part of the four DHAMs located on the eastern coast of india in orissa where only one temple in india Hindus are allowed to visit and is full of mysteries .The first mystery is the flag of the temple that always waves in the opposite direction of the wind .The second mystery is the the temple construction which is said to be so precise that there os no shadow that from this means that no matter what time of day you visit the temple there is no shadow cast on the ground. The third Mistry is the complete silence that you can experience once you enter the temple not only can you not hear the sound of the sea but you,re Also unable to hear anything from outside once you get inside the temple it’s like entering different world altogether. The fourth mystery is that no planes birds or helicopter can fly over the temple premises finally there the mystery of the Prasad that’s made in the temple it’s said that the Prasad is always enough for all the devotees and is never less or more no matter how many people visit the temple the Prasad is always perfectly portione.The happiness associated with it are out of human imagination. If you understand the story then the theory of life and the existence of lord Jagannath will hover around your mind in an unbelievable way.
The puri temple famous for it’s annul Rath yatra ,or charist festivals, in which the three principal deities are pulled on huge and elaborately decorated temple cars.
The present temple was rebuilt from the 10th century on wards ,on the site of an earlier temple, and begun by ANANTAUARMAN CHODGANGA DEVA,The first king of the Easten Ganga dynasty.
