So this campaign was about giving the education to the poor children in slum area who are financially weak and don’t have enough opportunities to get proper education. In this campaign we had created a group of 5 people to give education to the poor children and decided a location nearby. As we all know that education is the right of every citizen in India but still in some reasons people are not aware about the importance of education especially about the girls as at so many places people don’t send their girls to school after the age of 13 or 14 years of age as they grew up. I had done a several of even alphabets. So I had started educating them and also talked to their parents about their girls child education as they don’t send their girls child to school. While doing this campaign I had got so many things to learn and also noticed challenges in the society as while examining the state of education in slum area I get to know the several challenges like – financial issues, teacher shortage and less awareness among people. And through this campaign we made it possible to do this work and also made people aware about education and its importance in our life. And it is very important because education continues to break the chain of poverty.
