In the busy streets of Delhi with scenes of honking cars and hurried footsteps, a new girl is carving her space in city to dream. She came with visions as vast as this city, willing to pursue her passion and to live her dreams. Being from a very small town, she has always taught to cut her wings but she took the brave move to say goodbye to her hometown, she said goodbye to the thought which don’t let her to start, the society which don’t let her to be independent, the mindset which don’t allow her to pursue her dreams, the so-called friends who are not actually, the toxic people around her always there for a rum orated gossip.

Delhi with its skyscrapers and limitless opportunities became her platform to develop self-awareness. The choice to say goodbye to her parents was perhaps not the easiest decision, but it is one that she took knowing its consequences in order for her dream.
While walking through the streets which are full of people, her every step reminds her that there is something strong within her. The inspiration of ambition seems to permeate that atmosphere in Delhi, at every point there is a tale to tell, and she is here as the storyteller.
Being enrolled in a mass communication course, she lives among her peers who share similar aspirations but with different dreams. The lecture hall has become her event, where she can witness the world of journalism, television, and storytelling through fascinated eyes .It is not just a class it’s an experience that entangles with the rhythm of the city. Loneliness frequently raps at her door a reminder of the distance that stands between her and home. Night time is the time when she looks at herself in the mirror of a city light, with the glow of street lamps, she ponder on how far she has travelled, and further challenges awaits her.
Despite the suffering she manages to find peace in these friendships that stand as a bright spot amidst all the chaos. Strangers became companions and this city became her second home. As change comes with each season so does she, transforming herself into an ever-evolving developing being.
The new girl in the city becomes a symbol of toughness reflecting the spirit of numerous aspirants who choose to follow the road which are less travelled. It’s an emotional journey, one that tests her limits and shapes are character. So the girl is about whom you read is me. Myself Shazia signing off.
