Greater Noida, Journey plays a key role in witnessing the crucial moments and achievements of our lives. Here’s where, the students of mass communication department interacted with the participants of the Smart India Hackathon, on which, they were very much excited to talk about, and brief their experiences and share their overall journey with the interviewing students. Addressing a participant, named Md. Avaish Siddiqui, he expressed his gratitude towards the university’s support, welcoming and conducive environment of the mentors around them. He gave us insights of their project and the process of how they have been working.
The team is named as SECC which refers to “Single Emitting Cyclotron of A Charms”, and they are here from Kolkata, Narula Institute of Technology. The journey of their team, began from their college where, they got their idea from, and have now reached the finals of the Smart India Hackathon. Moving towards the hospitality of the university, he appreciated the campus, the faculty members and the other staff, that looks after their needs and requirements. Along with the external evaluators, the internal invigilators came to be very cooperative and coordinating, by providing the necessary adevices and suggestions to them. On discussing about the time table, they believe that the scheduling of the day is very well planned and organised, which makes them do their work in a more productive and efficient manner. Lastly, while talking about the level of competition and stress they are facing, it is taken up by the participants in a very positive and engaging spirit. The idea of Smart India Hackathon initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has become a vision of many people now, specially, the youth of our country, who are inspired and motivated to come up with great creative ideas that would solve problems of daily lives, and do tasks that will help in making a change towards the society and economy of the country by being self-reliant and eventually becoming a world leader by 2047. The coming years will be working on the visions and missions that have been established by the Prime Minister, and through the program of Smart India Hackathon, which has been a significant step towards the making of India as a developed and self- reliant economy, it evokes a sense of pride and responsibility amongst all the participants and audience.
