
Greater Noida, Three Day International Conference on Technology Driven Agriculture to Face Imminent Future Challenges at School of Agriculture, Galgotias University. The conference is being jointly organised with ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture and the All India Agricultural Students Association. The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Prof KK Singh, Vice Chancellor, SVPUAT, Meerut and Dr Richard Sikora, Professor Emeritus, University of Bonn, Germany. A total of eight technical sessions will be held during the three days.

The various technical sessions include Applications of AI in agriculture and precision farming, Millets and indigenous crops for environmental and nutritional security, Ecosmart natural resource management, Ecofriendly novel plant protection systems, Natural farming systems, Advances in dairy and animal production systems, Post-harvest & supply chain management and Policies for promoting Agriculture Driven technologies. Dr MK Verma, Director, ICAR-CITH, Dr VK Yadav, Director (Seed and Farm), CSUAT, Kanpur and Dr Anil Dixit, Joint Director, ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Dr JS Mishra, Director, ICAR-Weed Science Research, Dr Subhash Chander, Director, NCIPM, Dr Rajaram Tripathi, Chairman, CHMFI chaired the sessions. The conference has 40 lead and keynote speakers, around 110 oral/poster presentations and 485 registered participants. Concluding the year 2023 for School of Agriculture with an international conference featuring a galaxy of speakers from India and abroad.
