Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, September 25, 2023- The five-day event, UP International Trade Show, 2023, showcased the diverse range of products and services from around the state and the nation at Expo Mart in Greater Noida. With the remarkable turn of events, this event definitely became the epicentre of international trade in 2023, cementing Uttar Pradesh’s position as a global trade hub. The 2023 International Trade Expo held at this sprawling venue has attracted dignitaries, business leaders, and entrepreneurs from across the globe.
This is the first edition of the UP International Trade Show, though it has bigger aspirations in terms of reach, business, and prospects. It will showcase ODOP products, GI-Tag products, and many other products that are created and manufactured across Uttar Pradesh and have immense potential to be marketed globally. In the show, worthy products will find B2B and B2C buyers from India and abroad, and other stakeholders including the state govt. agencies will chart the path for making the most of it for all.
It started on 21st September 2023, and with its state-of-the-art facilities, became the focal point for a diverse range of industries, from technology and manufacturing to agriculture and fashion. With over 1,000 exhibitors representing 50 countries, this event showcased the state’s growing prominence on the global economic stage.
The inauguration speech was given by our honourable President, Ms Draupadi Murmu and she mentioned that our honourable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been instrumental in promoting international trade and investments. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment. “Uttar Pradesh is open for business, and we are eager to collaborate with international partners for mutual growth,” he stated.
One of the major highlights of the expo has been the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between international companies and local businesses. These agreements span diverse sectors such as technology transfer, infrastructure development, and renewable energy projects, promising to boost economic growth in the region.
Moreover, the Expo has showcased the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh through traditional dance performances, handicraft exhibitions, and culinary delights, leaving a lasting impression on international visitors.
With the 2023 International Trade Expo closing, Uttar Pradesh has positioned itself as a dynamic global trading partner, attracting investment and fostering collaboration. The Greater Noida Expo Mart’s success in hosting this event underscores the state’s commitment to economic growth and innovation, ensuring that Uttar Pradesh remains a vital player in the international trade arena for years to come.
