On 20th April 2023 School of Liberal Education and NSS, Galgotias University in collaboration with National Charitable Blood Center, Noida organized one day “Blood Donation Camp”. Prof. K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University, and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tripathi, President, National Health Organization have inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dr. Anuradha Prasahar, Dean, SOLE.
On this occasion, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tripathi interacted with students and motivated them to participate in the camp. He also talked about the importance of blood donation in the maintenance of good health. He said that “Blood Donation helps in maintaining the blood circulation in the body and reduces the chances of a heart attack.” With this, he also conveyed the significance of blood donation in the life of others. Dr. Anuradha Prasahar also motivated students with her kind words.
Students and faculties of different schools and departments of the galgotias university actively participated in the camp and donate 222 units to serve humanity. Refreshments and certificates of participation were also distributed among the donors and organizing members by the National Charitable Blood Center, Noida.
