We are living in an age where the mobile phone is not a luxury item but became a necessary item
without it we cannot imagine living our life. What has been observed so far is that the concept of
“mobile” has evolved, especially in the last decade, from simple mobile phones to feature-rich devices. It
has removed the visible as well as the invisible boundary between the People and Nation. Not only it
makes our life easier but it also changes the way we do work.
If we look from different angles we can say that Mobile has created the situation of unemployment
not for us but different Technology. Before the advancement of Mobile, we have different techniques
for doing different tasks. For calculating numbers we had the calculator, for waking up early we used the
alarm clock, for listening to songs we had the Radio, for talking with family and friends we used
Telephones and if we have to know about different dates we use the actual calendar made of Paper.
Now, these technologies are vanished or in the path of getting vanished from our day-to-day life. They
are becoming redundant or losing their importance. Now a Single Smart Phone performs all the above-
mentioned tasks with just a single click.
You can read books, listen to music, take pictures, watch videos, play games, create and edit documents,
and get medical reports only on your mobile device. Yes, it indeed makes our life easier but it also has
lots of negative consequences. Mobile phone addiction affects social skills,

We are in an amazing age where technology is advancing at a rapid rate. It’s exciting to see it unfold.
It’s fun to think about what your next tablet or phone will look like and what features it will have, but it’s
a trivial matter. What matters is the improvements that are happening in our daily lives and society in
general. It brings the world closer – a truly amazing situation. We may not be able to live without our
mobile phones, but we can take steps now to reduce the negative effects of this addiction. We should
not depend on mobile phones for everything.
