There are many players who play sports but there are very less players due to whom we start loving sport. Yesterday’s match between Portugal and Morocco has been lost by Portugal. People lost hopes, were shattered and emotional. Will this be marked as the end of ‘Ronaldo era’? Obviously not, he is loved, will always be loved. Morocco produced an incredible and commendable performance in the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup. Ronaldo had started from bench yet again in the quarter final and came on early in the second half, but failed to break the deadlock.
Morocco became the first ever African country to reach the semi finals. For the players of Morocco, the dream run continues even as the side and they had to face multiple flashbacks. The team was highly delighted but for the audience Ronaldo lost his lost for the last World Cup.
This 1-0 defeat for Portugal will be marked in the history as the end of Ronaldo era, but the rise of a great player. The dream of world cup shattered for him. His teary eyes said a lot about him. At last, we would definitely say ‘It’s not the goodbye that hurts but the flashback that follows’.
