Significance of the North Zone Vice Chancellors Meet:
The topic of the Meet was ‘Internationalization for Transformative Higher Education’.
The preceding talks assist universities and institutes of higher education in adapting to changing times and societal requirements. These circumstances alter university institutions and personnel, particularly scientific boards. They also support permanent education, greater education quality, and the production of engaged students. Despite these issues, the difficulties encourage students to engage in self-learning, the practice of learning skills, and the application of knowledge. Acceptance of foreign researchers and students, completion of international research projects, acceptance of scientific boards from other universities, dispatch of scientific boards to short-term periods, completion of common educational periods with other universities, use of international standards for assessment, emphasis on comparative studies, utilization of others’ experiences, effective and active participation.
Whereas the vision is quite ambitious, there are several hurdles ahead in this procedure. This North Zone Vice Chancellors Meeting was arranged to identify those issues and answers so that we may move forward toward a bright future for Indian higher education.
