Runway 34 earns ₹3 crore on opening day
Runway 34 box office collection: The latest film directed by Ajay Devgan is off to a shaky start at the box office. On Friday, the film, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan, earned only Rs. 3 crore.
The first day of box office for Runway 34 has not been as lucrative as expected. Ajay Devgan directions and acts in the film were expected to be quite more. The film, which features Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan, chronicles the account of a disastrous aeroplane landing and the inquiry that followed against the pilots who were involved.
According to a report by Box Office India, the film earned only ₹3 crore on its first day of release, which is considerably the lowest opening day for Ajay Devgn since Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge (2010). On the contrary, KGF Chapter 2, which was released third week of the month on Thursday, scored another ₹4.25 crore.
