Prime minister Narendra Modi on his monthly “Man ki baat” broadcast mentioned that daily approximately Rs. 20000 crores of online transactions are taking place on daily basis. He also mentioned that these small transactions are building a big digital economy which is resulting in a Fintech start-up.
Fintech start-ups are in trend and it will continue to grow with the digital economy. PM Modi urged the audience to join the digital payment methods and asked start-ups to share their experience.
UPI transactions have also reached the mark of 10 lakhs crore per day. This change is encouraging the youth and country to be transparent and honest.
Later he mentioned the people of the country visiting the local museums and also urged people to share their experiences using the hashtag “museummemories”. He also plauded the wonders of arts and knowledge with the advancement in technology.
India’s digital economy is now expected to reach $350 billion by 2030. India will become the third-largest country if after US and UK if it happened just in ten years. With growing technology, digital literacy is also growing.
With this motive PM, Narendra Modi urges the people of India to join hands in making India’s digital economy strong by contributing to digital transactions and developing start-ups that can help the Indian economy.
