&ldquoEk Khaani Aapki Zubaani&rdquo an online storytelling competition organized by the Department of Mass Communication, Galgotias University on June 15th, 2021 at Google Meet online platform. Participants from across the country joined the competition and narrated their stories. Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi Director General, Indian Institute of Mass Communication as a Chief Guest and Mr. Abhinav Arun (Author, Poet) as a Guest of Honor shared their views and appreciated the department for organising the event. The storytelling competition helps to instil excellence and to enhance their intellectual ability and to motivate people during pandemics.
The hosts of the event Ayushi Saxena and Aditi Bhardwaj, students of the Department of Mass Communication started the program by giving a welcome speech to all guests and participants. After that Head of the department, Dr. A. Ram Pandey gave his delightful words and narrated a story of Wolf Messing. Dr. Harish Kumar Program Chair of the Department of Mass Communication took the event ahead by welcoming guests. The event began with the thoughts of chief guest Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi and guest of honour Mr. Abhinav Arun. Moving ahead, hosts lead command and move ahead in presenting best out of best stories. Some participants gave a heart touching stories like Vishwash Chauhan narrated his story in a brilliant manner titled&rdquo Ek Kursi&rdquo, Prasanna Mahajan presented his story titled &ldquoCovid: the unsung hero&rdquo, Chirag Bhardwaj gave his story titled &ldquoKya ladkiyon ki tarah rota hai”, Shubhra Jyoti enlighten her story &ldquoVishwas ki dor&rdquo and there were several who spoke in a well-versed manner. The jury members for the competition were Dr. Apkesha from the Department of English & Ms. Unnati Gupta from the School of Business who evaluated the participants in the preliminary round and ed the best 15 entries out of all the submitted entries.
After observing all the heart-melting stories, Mr. Abhinav Arun had to decide the winner and it was not easy for him to winners from all these stories. Mehak Pandey from Indraprastha University for her story &ldquoI met my self&rdquo bagged the 1st position. Vishwas Chauhan from Galgotias University for his story &ldquoEk Kursi&rdquo bagged the 2nd position. Prasanna Mahajan from Galgotias University & Ayushi Yadav, Delhi University secured 3rd position by their stories &ldquoCovid: the unsung hero&rdquo &ldquoPyar Karna Aasan Hai Kya&rdquo respectively. Ms. Suruchi Agarwal, organiser of the event presented a vote of thanks to all who were present there and gave congratulations to all winners of the event.
